All About Me Poem

My name is A.

I have experienced cleaning my room because cleaning my room is the easiest job in the whole wide world.

I imagine eating everything I want because my mom chooses everything we eat because she wants us to be healthy.

I know I am smart because my mom says that if I get to college I will be ready. I wonder if I can invite my friends over because my mom does not let people come over.

I believe that I can fly so I can feel the cool air.

    Hi A!
    The fact that cleaning your room is easy makes me happy. Because most of my kids' rooms when they were growing up were complete messes and cleaning them was hard! ^_^
    I like these poems that begin with I imagine, I believe, etc. because it really gives a window into your mind about what you think. My favorite one was about flying and feeling the cool air. What fun!

    Your poem was very interesting to read, and I am excited you are thinking about college already! I am a college student now, and you definately use a lot of reading and writing in classes. You are on the right track by practicing your writing skills, and you are very lucky to have Mrs. L as a teacher.

    My job when I was growing up was to keep the house clean. I used to do it and try to imagine all sorts of things about my future. It always pleases me to see someone else who likes to imagine their future because it keeps you motivated. I know that if you keep up the good work, you will do well in college. I'm a retired teacher (33 years) so I like to stay in touch with young people.
