Rules for the Library - 25

1.Treat them gently.
Flipping the page to hard can rip them. You would have to pay for them if that happened. Always treat the book gently.

2. Keep food away from the books.
Eating food around the books could easily ruin them. Always keep them away from food and drinks.

3. Keep them up high.
Leaving them down on the floor could easily lead to them getting stepped on or a baby ripping it. That will always lead to paying for the book.

4.Don’t let people borrow the books.
Someone borrowing the books could easily get them ripped. Some people don’t care about the books because the books don’t belong to them.

5.Return books gently.
Throwing the books on the counter could easily break or rip it, because it has been used many times. The Librarian wouldn’t be happy.

  1. I have always loved books so I appreciate the subject of your writing very much! You did a great job of pointing out ways books can be damaged. I think that will help others to think about how they handle books.
Thank you for sharing this with me! ^_^

  2. Hi!
You have many great ideas for how to take good care of books. It sounds like you enjoy books and want to keep them in good condition.
At the beginning of your list, I wish you had started by letting me know your list was about how to take care of books. It took me a little while to know what your list was about.
Maybe you could start with a question like "Do you know the best ways to take care of library books" or maybe start with "Library books are important and you can keep them new by these steps".
It helps the reader to know right away what it is you are writing about.
You have many great ideas! keep practicing and writing, and reading library books. Good Luck!
